Clubhouse is still only available for iPhone and has barely 13 million downloads (which isn’t the same as active users) worldwide. Although it celebrated its first anniversary in March 2021! it’s still considered in beta. It’s been a hot topic! though! backed by a marketing campaign that requires an invitation to join the social network (which encourages that well-exploited “fear of missing out!” or FOMO).

But development on Android seems to be slow : there’s no planned release telegram data date yet! although the creators of ClubHouse assured in January that it would arrive “soon.” Meanwhile! the Play Store is becoming infested with junk apps that mimic the app’s name or icon. Some users are also starting to complain about the slowness in creating pre-requested clubs.

Twitter has been quick to launch Twitter Spaces : initially only come to Twitter? clean email available on iOS (like ClubHouse)! it announced its launch on Android at the beginning of March ! rapidly expanding its potential audience (although it’s true that only a few Android users can currently create rooms! although they can join them). Like ClubHouse! it’s only available on the mobile app.

Clubhouse beware: Twitter Spaces may be about to beat you in the race.

Twitter Spaces still needs to exit beta and ensure the stability of the a stay in a very british seaside resort? feature! but it has numerous advantages over Clubhouse : first! a larger critical mass of users! essential for the long-term success of any social network. It also has more “reaction” tools than its competitor! the ability to share messages via tweets within the room! and the option to share the link to the room among your network of followers! whether or not you’re the host.

Among the details still to be ironed out are how to find and categorize Spaces rooms that interest you! and the question of whether audio recordings will be saved for later playback! as some users have already requested.

It’s one of the most under-the-radar developments: earlier this year! Twitter announced it was acquiring the newsletter creation service Revue to integrate this new feature into the social network.
