The artificial intelligence (AI) war continues to rage. And to occupy the field! the new masters of high-tech are competing with more or less relevant announcements. Perplexity! for example! has just launched “Spaces” for Pro users! i.e. paying users (of which I am one). But what is it? Let’s leave it to Perplexity to explain its own new features! below in italics:
Perplexity recently launched two new features for its Pro and Enterprise Pro users: Internal Knowledge Search and “Spaces.” Internal Knowledge Search allows users to search internal documents and public web content simultaneously! simplifying the process of finding and analyzing data. This feature is particularly useful for companies that need to manage large amounts of internal and external data.
Perplexity Launches Custom AI
“Spaces” are AI-powered collaboration hubs that allow teams to centralize their documents and share them with other users. Users can customize the AI assistant to cater to specific content types! delivering a employment database more personalized search experience. “Spaces” also offer comprehensive access controls! allowing teams to keep their documents private and secure.
These new features are designed to improve team efficiency and productivity. Companies can now combine internal data with external searches to obtain more complete and accurate results. “Spaces” also facilitate collaboration and document management! reducing the time wasted navigating between different platforms. With these updates! Perplexity positions itself as an essential tool for companies looking to improve their research and collaboration process.
AI: towards a regression of knowledge?
My comment? All this is sometimes very useful! since I use this good how to do it? 5 steps to a corporate culture like google Perplexity every day! but! in general! AI is not reliable enough! as Apple recently pointed out again in this publication . Having been closely interested in heuristics and scientific knowledge during my university studies! I can Perplexity Pro Steps only note a regression of knowledge in recent years since today we praise lousy algorithms that quite often give relevant answers while generating! without warning! hallucinations. Thank you AI! the misnamed one!
One of the reasons for this drift is perhaps linked to the very lob directory curriculum of the various sorcerer’s apprentices who support this movement. I suspect them of a lack of knowledge and reflection on subjects such as philosophy! epistemology! knowledge or “the humanities” in general. Clearly! these minds! not universal enough! are complacent in an approximate and fluctuating knowledge. Something to think about.
